ACAC held the Airlines Advisory Meeting on June12-13,2006. In that meeting, the current status of ARJ21-700 Program was introduced , the Customer Service System and the customers’ requirements to ARJ21-900 were widely consulted from Airlines. ACAC also gained ideas and suggestions on the continued development of ARJ21 program.

 

Nearly 80 delegates attended this meeting, including Mr. Jianghuaiyu, CAAC director of Flight Standard Department, Mr. Zhaoyuerang, director of Air-worthiness Department, Mr. Liyongqi ,assistant inspector of Planning and Finance Department, Mr. Wuchengchang ,assistant inspector of Flight Standard Department, delegates from Shandong Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Shenzhen Finance Leasing Co., Ltd., Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Xi’an Aircraft Company, Shenyang Aircraft Company, and the oversea suppliers of ARJ21 program, such as EVAC, GE, etc.

 

The meeting was presided over by Mr. Chen Jin, vice president of ACAC. During the two days meeting, experts from CAAC and airlines listened to reports on ARJ21-700 development status, engineering design, market adaptability, and customer service. Experts also gave some suggestions on ARJ21 aircraft’s cockpit, performance, customer service, market development, engine and so on.

 

Mr. Jianghuaiyu, CAAC director of Flight Standard Department, was satisfied with the development of ARJ21 Program. He said it is very necessary for ACAC to consult customers-Airlines, and consider the security, reliability comfort of ARJ21 Aircraft and Market requirement. This developing mode is welcomed by airlines, so that ARJ21 Aircraft will meet the requirement of the markets well. China airline circle would like to be hand in hand with aviation manufacturers to develop Chinese own ARJ21 aircrafts together.

 

Mr. Zhengqiang, AVIC-I assistant president and ACAC president was grateful to all the conventioneers. He said ACAC would clear up and analyze all the suggestions   and collaborate with all the involved oversea suppliers and domestic partners, communicate with all the customers more closely, and to develop a custom-benefited and passenger-satisfied ARJ21 aircraft.

 

This conference is playing a very important role in the developing history of Chinese aviation, which initiates advisories from customers on the aircraft configuration, markets’ requirement and customer service in order to perfect the every index of ARJ21 Aircraft at the time of turning into full-scale trial-manufacture phase. As a milestone of the ARJ21aircraft designing concept, this conference will take great influence on future development of Chinese regional civil aircraft.
