ARJ21-900
ARJ21-900 is the stretched version of the ARJ21 series, powered by two GEAE's CF34-10A high bypass ratio turbofan engines. It can provide 98 seats in mixed class configuration or 105 seats in all economic class configuration. ARJ21-900 consists of two versions: The Standard Range (STD) version is mainly used to meet the operating requirements for the spoke air routes from the hub to smaller airports; The Extended Range (ER) version can meet the requirements for the "slim" point-to-point air routes.
Range
The design range is 2,225km (1,200nm) for the ARJ21-900 Standard Range (STD) version with standard passenger payload (SPP).
The design range is 3,334km (1,800nm) for the ARJ21-900 Extended Range (ER) version with standard passenger payload (SPP).
The cruise speed is 0.78 mach~0.80 mach

Cabin Configuration
The interior facility configuration inside ARJ21 aircraft is modularized, flexible enough for different airlines and different customer groups to choose. It makes full use of the space inside cabin and creates a broad comfortable travel environment for passenger.
Seat number, pitch, top luggage rack arrangement, specification and location of galley, lavatory, stowage and wardrobe of front and rear service cabins can be reasonably configured according to the user’s requirements. Recreation facility, attendant seats and other facilities are also provided for customer to choose.
The followings are two basic layouts for ARJ21-900 in mixed class configuration and all economic class configuration.
The adoption of the double circular section airframe not only brings ARJ21-900 many advantages on the widths of the aisle and the seats, the cabin height and the top luggage rack capacity, which make it as comfortable as some trunk line airplanes, but also expands the height and capacity of the cargo hold.
Avionics
ARJ21 has a two-crew cockpit. The avionics system adopts bussing technique, and highly integrated LCD is used for flat panel display. ARJ21 adopts electric flight control system with electric signal control and electro-hydraulic / electro-mechanical actuators, which reduces the operating load of the flight crew and provides maximum commonality with the mainstream trunk line aircrafts of 150 seats.

Market Prospect
The aviation transportation keeps increasing all around the world, which brings the congestion problem of the air routes and airports day and day. Due to the shortage of land resource, environment protection and other factors that influence new airports construction or extension, a large-scale trend comes in the regional aircraft development. With the development of domestic regional air transport, most airlines are in dire need of regional aircrafts of 100 seats in order to meet the increasing passenger resource, get more benefit and enhance dispatch flexibility. As a link between the mainstream trunk line aircrafts of 150 seats and the small regional aircraft, ARJ21-900 has good market prospect.
